Earning extra savings with your own vacation home
While many countries are going off the coronas lock again, vacationing at home continues to gain popularity. And with that trend, interest in buying a vacation home is growing. Just how does that work? What are the benefits? And is it really as worthwhile an investment as is often said? We talked about it with Chadli Hachani, Marketing & Formula Manager of TopParken [By RTL Nieuws.nl].

To say that it is very nice to have a vacation home somewhere in your own country is an understatement. What it has to offer you? "First of all, having your own vacation spot provides a lot of convenience, relaxation and happiness. Anytime you feel like getting away from it for a few days, you can.
`Looking at the financial picture, you can say that renting out your vacation home, if you want to, can earn you a nice little extra each year. However, it is important to know that the amount of the return strongly depends on which type of property you buy in which location. Suppose you have your eye on a location where the tourist flow is not the best, but you do have the idea of regularly renting out the house, then you are missing the boat. If you want to go for maximum return, then some of the vacation homes will simply fall through because of the location. Get information and advice on this."
