LUNTEREN - Camping de Hertshoorn in Garderen is being taken over by TopParken and will continue under the name TopParken Resort Veluwe early next year. The Licht family, former owners of the campground, and the Bergervoet family, shareholders and management of TopParken, signed the contract this week, and on November 1 the baton will be officially handed over by notarial conveyance.

The organization will be taken over in its entirety by TopParken, including all facilities, existing bookings, current staff and liabilities. In order to align the appearance of the campground with TopParken, adjustments will be made at the park in the coming period in which vitality, quality and sustainable business are central, which explains, among other things, the name change to Resort Veluwe. In addition to the existing camping facilities, vacation homes for rental and sale will eventually be added to the vacation park in various phases.

TopParken is well known as a bungalow vacation provider and is looking forward to the expansion through the acquisition of the vacation park on the Veluwe. The experience of carefree vacations at the most beautiful locations in the Netherlands is part of the company's vision. The location, facilities and atmosphere of De Hertshoorn in Garderen perfectly match that vision.

Family Light has been involved in camping De Hertshoorn for 21 years, of which 15 years as owner, and in this period as a forerunner in the field of glamping has grown into a stylish and child-friendly vacation park with many beautiful and special facilities.

With this acquisition and the establishment of The Dutch Palm in Cuijk last month, where 700 vacation homes will be realized, TopParken operates a total of 20 holiday parks in the Netherlands, some of which are still under development.
