In October 2020, TopParken acquired Camping De Hertshoorn in Garderen. In June 2021 the sale of the first new vacation homes started. Within six weeks this phase was sold out and immediately after that the second phase was started. Now that phase two is also completely sold out, the third and also final sales phase will start this week. Within the final sales phase, a new, sustainable vacation home will be introduced.
The popularity of a vacation at home continues to rise.
The corona pandemic has provided an additional boost in this regard. The rise in this popularity is also affecting the demand for purchasing one's own vacation home. 'The fact that we have started the final sales phase at Resort Veluwe within a year, shows that the purchase of a private vacation home is still very popular,' says Chadli Hachani, marketing and formula manager at TopParken. He continues: 'That's not surprising; especially now a private vacation home for own use, rental or a combination of these is very interesting.
